We are a training facility that specializes in Group Training and One on One Training Programs. We view Personal Training not as the role of just a motivator (really anyone can be a cheerleader), but also as an educator, and as professionals in human movement. Many trainers now a days watch a YouTube Video of how to do a cool new workout and pass it on to clients without any understanding of how that workout will specifically effect that person. Numerous trainers use kettlebells without any idea of how to do the movement. Anyone can set up a workout that will make you sore, but exercise is more than just sweat and soreness. We have thoughtful programs that vary from One on One Training to Small Group Training, so whether your goal is weight loss, corrective exercise, high intensity training, or olympic lifting we have program that will help you achieve your goals. Our Training philosophy is always based on making sure proper movement patterns are always used and then we focus to build intensity and strength on a healthy foundation. This isn't a gym with dancing aerobics or fluffy fitness, this is a strength training facility that is unlike anything offered in Tucson, Arizona. Whether you are interested in group training or one on one we always take YOU into consideration. We are owner operated. Meaning the Owner (Danny is on site). We are Tucson's School of Strength.

Danny Sawaya (SF Team Leader, CK-FMS, CSCS, BS Nutrition)
Owner-Evolution Fitness Systems
Danny has been a professional in the Fitness and Nutrition field for over a decade. After earning a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Arizona, he conducted research in the Metabolic Monitoring Lab and taught nutritional sciences at the University. He is a StrongFirst Team Leader, as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA. Danny underwent all of his Russian kettlebell training with Pavel Tsatsouline the man who brought kettlebell training to the United States. He is also FMS Certified. Danny is the NASA Powerlifting National Record holder for Submasters 181lbs weight class.
Jeanine Palmieri, NASM CPT, HKC
Jeanine Palmieri has traveled the United States as an Air Force wife and holds 15 years experience in the corporate wellness and fitness field holding numerous certifications in Personal Training, corrective exercise, and group training. Jeanine has introduced specialized fitness programs at corporate wellness facilities as well as a part-time faculty instructor for the University of Nebraska-Omaha in the Health Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) Department. She most recently moved to Tucson from Hickam AFB in Hawaii, where she designed and taught Athletic Core Conditioning Classes and started up the base TRX Suspension Training Program for active duty military whose goal was to pass the required yearly personal fitness test. Jeanine found her niche in training active duty personnel who were on profile for injuries. Jeanine’s constant desire to grow and learn keeps her current in the field.

Jacqueline Luciano SFG Level 2, RKC
Aaron Uthoff, BS, CF Level1, CPT
Aaron Uthoff is the head coach of Tucson Barbell Club's Olympic Lifting team. He has 11 years of experience programming for explosive training and exercises for the development of speed and power. Aaron is a Crossfit Level I Trainer, and holds Expert rating certifications for Elite Personal Training and Sports Nutrition. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Northern Arizona University where he played collegiate football and competed for Team Arizona Olympic Weightlifting. Aaron is currently working towards a Master’s of Science degree in Physiology from the University of Arizona and interning with the university’s Strength and Conditioning program.
Matthew York MS, CSCS, USAW, CF-L1
Matt has been in the exercise field for 10 years. He holds a Master of Science degree in Exercise, Fitness and Health Promotion and a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from George Mason University, where he played baseball for the Division 1 Patriots. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, a USA Weightlifting SP Coach as well as a CrossFit Level 1 and CrossFit Kids Trainer. For the last 6 years, Matt has been the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at the prestigious St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School in Alexandria, Virginia. At SSSAS, Matt started the schools’ first Olympic Weightlifting Club and CrossFit affiliate. There, Matt re-wrote the Upper School’s Physical Education curriculum to incorporate Olympic lifting, powerlifting and CrossFit style courses in addition to training every sports team at the school. In 2009, Matt worked as the first strength and conditioning coach for the professional women’s football team, the D.C. Divas, where they finished 2nd in the league out of 56 teams. Prior to his work at SSSAS, Matt was the Assistant Strength Coach at American University in Washington DC where he was responsible for training teams from the school’s Division 1 athletics program. Matt got his start in the field as a volunteer strength coach at Temple University where he worked with football, baseball, track, volleyball, crew , tennis and basketball. Matt played Division 1 baseball at George Mason University and has competed in both Olympic Weightlifting and Powerlifting.
